We're here to provide natural, sulfate-free hypo-allergenic* haircare products for those of us who have wondered if Minerva had some kind of beef with us in a past life, as well as those out there who want to make their great hair even better. 

Our products are 100% vegan, very gentle, and range from completely unscented and undyed to richly and romantically scented with vibrant, lusty colors to match. 

As well as being delightful when it comes to day-to-day haircare, our products are both vegan and cruelty-free, so you can buy without guilt! 

Serpentine Hair was founded by a gal named Kim (That's me!) out of frustration with paying astronomical prices for a decent sulfate-free haircare line that didn't use overwhelmingly strong fragrances or other harsh chemicals. I always loved the idea of shampoo bars, but I ran into the same problems as I always did; the bigger bath and body companies that billed their products as "natural" were usually full of sulfates and other harsh ingredients that aggravated my allergies, and the indie alternatives generally varied between nice-but-really-expensive and cheap-but-lousy. I was ready to start tearing my (serpentine) hair out in frustration, so I decided to do something about it. After putting my mad kitchen and chemistry skillz to work, (combined with extensive research, a few mistakes, and several metric tons of coffee,) Serpentine Hair was born. I hope you like these products and the fruits of my insane caffeine consumption as much as I do; they smell nice, are quite gentle on the hair, and won't break the bank.
